Orc-hestra.

I'm sure the pun has been made before but for some reason it has been stuck in my head over the past few days, so I decided to illustrate it. This took about a day and a half which is a pretty good turnaround for me. It felt like it took ages sketching out the figures and arranging them into a composition I was happy with. I have a few more word-based illustrations in mind, will post them soon, you lucky thing.

This is not a particularly new technique but I'm growing fond of it - illustrating over existing photographs (started with 'Phoneys Autopsy') The juxtaposition of illustration against the photograph brings out a certain element I really like, it adds a new narrative.
